A Note From Our Principal
Welcome to St. Patrick’s and thank you for taking an interest in our school. The one thing you need to know is we are the only Augustinian Catholic elementary school in San Diego. Founded by the Province of Saint Augustine in 1944, we are closely aligned to St. Augustine High School, and have been proudly fulfilling our mission of building community in North Park these past 80 years. Being an Augustinian school matters because we are guided by the charisms of Unity, Truth, and Love as we strive to educate the whole child in Mind, Body, and Spirit. So, what does that actually mean? It means we exist solely to help children develop to their fullest potential academically (Mind), socially (Body, as in we are the Body of Christ), and spiritually (Spirit). These core values benefit all our students, not just our boys who are guaranteed admission to St. Augustine High School under the guidelines of the Augustinian Promise. It defines who we are as a community and propels us forward in everything we do on our campus. I invite you to schedule an appointment for a tour, so I can personally show you firsthand how we live our mission every day. We know that finding the right school for your child is not easy and that parents have more options today than ever before. Please visit so you can see for yourself what makes us special from every other school in San Diego. Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
Hernán Valdivia
